Thank you to everyone who RSVP’ed to Remembering Stu – A Celebration of Life.      As you prepare to celebrate Stu, here are a few reminders about tonight’s event—and some new information, including a request to share your favorite joyous and happy “This could only happen to Stu” memories at the Celebration and an opportunity to continuing celebrating Stu at The Heretic after the Celebration:   Celebration of Life • Event Time: • 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. • Event Location / Parking:                            • Georgia Aquarium, Oceans Ballroom; 246 Ivan Allen Jr. Blvd. NW • Parking is Self-pay • For directions and details, go to:   www.rememberingstu.com • Attire: • Casual and Comfortable—just like Stu! • Food / Drink: • Cash bar available for the entire event. • A complimentary signature drink available for the first part of the evening. • Warning:  It’s fruity and sweet—just like Stu! • Light hors d’oeuves passed 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. • Complimentary champagne toast to Stu to conclude the celebration (approximately 9:30 p.m.) • This Could Only Happen to Stu: • Share your happiest, funniest, most joyous memories of Stu from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. • Sign-up sheet available at the event • Please limit your sharing to 2-3 minutes, so we can get to as many as possible  •  Photos: • To share photos you take throughout the evening, be sure to go to:  www.rememberingstu.com and upload them.   Stu’s “Last Twirl” • The Heretic will provide reduced cover ($5) to everyone who would like to dance one more time with Stu. • A BIG THANKS to the folks at The Heretic! • Display the image (emailed to you) on your phone at the door for entrance at the reduced cover price: • Standard cover of $15 will be charged without image.     The outpouring of love and affection evidenced by all of you over these last weeks has been profoundly meaningful and moving to Stu’s family and his closest friends as they prepared for today’s Celebration of Stu.  We look forward to being with you tonight.

Years ago when I was living in Atlanta, I had a Bastille Day party at my condo, with French wines and cheeses and a group of friends, including Stu. It was a brand new condo and I think I casually mentioned something about everything being great but that there was a sliding shower door out of alignment. Stu graciously offered to take a look and, with his handyman skills, fixed it! Stu was the type of friend who would drop whatever he was doing to help you out.

• Attire for the event is casual. Please dress in whatever you feel comfortable in. • Light hors d’oeuvres will be passed from 7:30p - 8:30p. • Don't miss our signature drink in honor of Stu and stay with us for a special toast to Stu later in the evening. • A cash bar will be open for the entire event.
